the Gillin Beach House. When
you contact us, please let us
know the number of people in
your party and the dates you
will need accommodations.
RATES:
Rent is due 45 days prior
to your arrival. There
is a 4.166% general excise
tax and 7.25% room tax,
separate from the rent.
Please note there is a
five night minimum. If
you plan to stay longer
than a week, the extra
nights are prorated at
the weekly rate. A one
time out-cleaning charge
is included in the quoted
rental rate. Additional
cleaning can be arranged
upon request at guest's
expense.
DEPOSIT:
A $200 deposit per week
of your stay is required
to confirm your reservation.
The deposit, which is separate
from the rent, will be
refunded to you by mail
approximately 4 weeks after
your departure. Deducted
from the deposit will be
any charges for damage
that is more than normal
wear and tear, excessive
cleaning costs, telephone
charges, and replacement
cost for lost key's ($500.00
for special keys).
CANCELLATION:
Except for Christmas bookings,
with a 60 day written notice
we will refund the full
deposit, less a $50 processing
fee. If less than 60 days
written notice, the entire
deposit will be forfeited.
If less than 30 days written
notice the rent and excise
tax will be forfeited unless
the house can be re-rented.
2006 Rates
Low season (May 1-June
15 and Sept. 8 - Dec. 14)
- $2,810.00 per week,
plus tax.
High season
(Jan. 8 - April 30 and
June 16 - Sept. 7)
- $3,050.00 per week,
plus tax.
Christmas season
(Dec. 15 - Jan.
7)
- $3,465.00 per week,
plus tax. There is
a two week minimum
stay during the Christmas
season. Cancellation
requires 90 days written
notice, and rent is
due 60 days prior
to arrival.
KEYS
AND DIRECTIONS:
Keys can be picked up at
Makai Properties in Poipu,
(1941 Poipu Rd). Check-in
time is 3:00 pm. Check-out
time is 10:00 am. Directions
to the house and key pick-up
will be provided with your
rental contract. The house
is accessed via a short
drive on a sugar cane road,
approximately 5 minutes
from the Hyatt Regency
Kaua'i in Poipu.
FURNISHINGS:
The house is completely
furnished and includes
linens and kitchen items.
There are sleeping accommodations
for up to 6 guests.
